We’re thrilled to celebrate the incredible support of GXO, whose recent fundraising efforts have resulted in a fantastic donation of £5117.61 to the Breast Care Unit at Milton Keynes University Hospital.
As longstanding supporters of Milton Keynes Hospital Charity, GXO has generously supported a variety of wards, departments, and projects across the hospital over the years. Their continued commitment to improving the experience of local patients, families, and staff is truly appreciated.
This latest fundraising total was achieved through a combination of activities, including a fantastic Family Fun Day and ongoing fundraising through the onsite Over The Top Shop (OTTS).
A Fantastic Family Fun Day

We were delighted to attend the recent GXO Family Fun Day, where our team hosted a fundraising stall and enjoyed a wonderful day filled with community spirit, generosity, and fun.
The event brought together colleagues, friends, and families for a packed day of entertainment, activities, and fundraising. It was fantastic to see so many people stopping by our stall to learn more about the work of Milton Keynes Hospital Charity, take part in fundraising activities, and show their support for local patients and hospital staff.
The Family Fun Day provided a brilliant opportunity to engage with GXO employees and their families while raising vital funds for a cause close to their hearts. The atmosphere throughout the day reflected the strong sense of community that GXO has built across its workforce.
A special thank you goes to our incredible volunteers Theresa, Izzy, Hope, Richard, and Sarah, who generously gave up their time to help throughout the day. Their enthusiasm, energy, and dedication helped make the event such a success, and we are incredibly grateful for everything they did. Volunteer Sarah, a trauma coordinator at MKUH commented:
“I loved today it has been so fun to see new people and speak to them about the MKUH charity”

The GXO Over The Top Shop (OTTS)
The GXO Over The Top Shop (OTTS) has become a remarkable force for good across Milton Keynes, turning surplus and unwanted items into meaningful support for local charities, community groups, and residents. Since its launch, the initiative has generated over £1 million for good causes while also helping to reduce waste, create employment opportunities, and provide affordable items for GXO employees. Milton Keynes Hospital Charity has been fortunate to benefit from the generosity of the OTTS on a number of occasions, with donations helping to enhance the experience of patients, families, and staff at Milton Keynes University Hospital. The scheme is a fantastic example of how innovative thinking, sustainability, and community spirit can come together to create lasting impact, and we are incredibly grateful to Tracey Theobald, Kevin Deakin, and the wider GXO team for their continued commitment to making a difference.
