I’m Vanessa and I’m head of the charity at MKUH. I’ve worked at the hospital since January 2011, leading the development and delivery of our strategy. I love connecting people to our hospital and the charity, and networking with others to help them make a difference.

I’m Jodie and I joined the wonderful Milton Keynes Hospital Charity team in 2023 as Senior Fundraiser. I’m here to build lasting relationships with the very special individuals who kindly wish to support their local hospital, as well as lead on the charity’s digital and marketing plans. I feel very lucky to work for a charity that’s making a huge difference for patients, families, and staff here at the hospital.

I’m Sarah and I’ve been with the Trust since 2005, and in the role of Voluntary Services Manager since 2019. I’m passionate about providing volunteering support to our wards and departments, working closely with managers to create bespoke roles to suit their needs and those of their patients. Knowing that our work contributes to improving patient and family experiences gives me a great deal of pride.

I’m Alison and I support the Voluntary Services Manager in recruiting and looking after our amazing team of volunteers who work tirelessly to support #TeamMKUH. I’ve worked at the hospital since January 2019 in various roles and I’ve really found my happy place in Voluntary Services.

I’m Lauren and I’m the Butterfly Volunteers Coordinator at MKUH. Butterfly Volunteers support patients and their loved ones who are facing the end of their lives. I joined the Trust in 2018 as an Organisational Development Apprentice and have worked within Education & Widening Participation until 2023. I’ve been a part of the Voluntary Services Team since the beginning of 2023 – I love the team and all our wonderful volunteers at MKUH.
