Through your school

Supporting our charity is a great way for school children to engage with their wider community and make a difference.

Whether you select us as a charity-of-the-year, hold a fundraising event or take part in one of ours, we’ve got lots of ideas and resources to help!

We have lots of opportunities to get involved, some of which tie into the national curriculum. We can also support you with assemblies and materials to help you promote your fundraising.

In the community

From cake sales to sponsored runs, gala balls and head shaves, people do all kinds of activities to raise money for us – and every penny makes a difference!

We love to hear from our supporters and can provide lots of fundraising advice, resources and ideas to get you started – so don’t forget to let us know what you’re up to.

You can also set up a fundraising page to support your activity by clicking the button below.

Through your company

Fundraising for our charity can motivate your staff and help your team bond; you’ll also be promoting your organisation to a wider audience with great PR; help achieve your CSR targets and make a real difference at YOUR local hospital. That’s a lot of benefits!

Just some of the ways you can help include: nominating us as a charity partner, making a corporate donation or gift in kind and staff volunteering – so why not get in touch today so we can start planning a tailored partnership plan!

Make a donation

Many people donate to say thank you – because they’ve experienced amazing care or a friend or family member has been looked after by hospital staff.

You can help support the hospital by making a direct donation, or you can also donate by completing a donation form and sending a cheque, made payable to ‘Milton Keynes Hospital Charity’ for the attention of the fundraising team.

You can donate to any ward or department you choose – just let us know when you make your gift. Don’t forget, if you’re a UK taxpayer, you can add 25% to the value of your donation by ticking the Gift Aid box!

Become a Regular Donor

Set up a direct debit to give a monthly gift and help us continue to support staff, patients and their families at Milton Keynes University Hospital.
Whether you choose to support a specific ward, appeal or choose for your donation to be used where it is most needed. You will have a lasting impact on your local hospital.
By signing up to give a monthly gift you can help us plan better for the future and help our teams decide where charitable funds are best used.

Leave a gift in your Will

A gift in your Will doesn’t have to be large to make a lasting difference.

Just a small proportion of what’s left after your friends and family have been provided for can play a big part in the care and treatment of future generations of local people in MK.

It’s a decision that makes a very special and lasting difference to the lives of patients at MKUH, long into the future.

Our volunteers are our face and voice in the community and we always welcome new people to help.

There are many ways to get involved:
– Being part of a cheering squad at challenge events
– Encouraging friends, family and colleagues to support us
– Running stalls for the charity at fairs, carnivals and special events
– Distributing collection tins
– Attending cheque presentations and events on behalf of the charity.

Celebrate the memory
of a loved one

You can celebrate the memory of your loved one by setting up a Memorial Page. Our Memorial Pages give you an online space to remember someone special and celebrate their life. It provides an opportunity for friends and family to acknowledge a loved one’s memory and the impact they made whilst making a difference to our local hospital. You can set up your page by clicking the button below.
