How to support us

Make a donation

Many people donate to say thank you because they’ve experienced amazing care, or a friend or family member has been looked after by staff at Milton Keynes University Hospital.

Others donate because they simply want to contribute to the wellbeing of others in their community.

You can support the hospital by making a direct donation online, or by completing a donation form and sending a cheque made payable to ‘Milton Keynes Hospital Charity’ for the attention of the fundraising team.

You can also make a donation to a specific ward or department, or set up a monthly donation to give regularly.

And don’t forget, if you’re a UK taxpayer, you can add 25% to the value of your donation (at no extra cost to you) by ticking the Gift Aid box!

Become a regular donor

Set up a monthly direct debit to provide ongoing support for patients, their families, and staff at Milton Keynes University Hospital.

Raise money at school

Supporting our charity is a great way for school children to engage with their wider community and make a difference.

Whether you choose us as your Charity of the Year, hold a fundraising event, or take part in one of ours, we’ve got lots of ideas and resources to help!

There are many opportunities to get involved, some of which tie into the national curriculum. We can also support you with assemblies and materials to help you promote your fundraising.

Volunteer with us

Volunteers are very special to us and play an important role as part of #TeamMKUH. Our highly committed army of volunteers can be found helping out across all areas of the hospital; on the wards, in our gardens, and in our charity office. They’re also our face and voice in the community!

Commit just 3 hours a week (more if you’d like!) and you’ll meet new people, make friends for life, and learn new skills – all whilst giving something something back.

Remember a loved one

You can honour the memory of your loved one by setting up a dedicated memorial page.

Our memorial pages provide an online space to remember someone special and celebrate their life. It gives friends and family an opportunity to acknowledge a loved one’s memory and the impact they made, whilst making a difference at Milton Keynes University Hospital.  

Leave a gift in your will

A gift in your will doesn’t have to be substantial to make a lasting difference.
