Due to a significant increase in patients being treated at the Milton Keynes Cancer Centre, last year we funded some additional, super comfortable armchairs to be used in our chemotherapy area as well as the side rooms in the ward above.
Because patients going through chemotherapy treatment or blood transfusions typically have to sit for very long periods of time, it’s really important we get them comfortable chairs. These chairs are also reclining and have built in speakers, to enhance the patient experience even more.
Thank you so much to everyone who has made donations to help support the purchase of these, including My Milton Keynes and John Lewis & Partners in central Milton Keynes for their support through fundraising and last year’s Fashion Show.
