Following its search for a local charity to support this year in the Milton Keynes area, the Knowlhill based 360 Play family entertainment centre has announced that Milton Keynes Hospital Charity will be its official charity for 2019.
As a popular destination for families with young children 360 Play continues to be involved in and to work with the city and the local community and on this occasion will in particular be supporting Leo’s Appeal, which raises money for the hospital’s children’s wards, and the Cancer Centre Appeal, helping to build a brand new cancer centre at the hospital.
360 Play will be offering support in various ways throughout the year, with a variety of events and other activities which will be held for the benefit of the charity.
Milton Keynes Hospital Charity is the official charity for Milton Keynes University Hospital. Its mission is to make a real difference to the experience of patients, their families and the staff who treat them. The organisations raises money for all wards and departments and its fundraising enables the team to go over and above what the NHS provides, funding specific, tangible items such as state of the art equipment, comfort items for patients, special advanced training for members of staff, pilots for new patient-care initiatives and new welcoming, positive environments for everyone treated in the hospital.
It is a local charity benefitting the community in and around Milton Keynes and as such is an ideal charity of the year partner for 360 Play.
Senior fundraiser at Milton Keynes Hospital Charity Jenny Howells said: “I am absolutely delighted that 360 Play have chosen to support our charity – and in particular our Cancer Centre Appeal and children’s wards. We are a local charity benefiting the Milton Keynes community, so for us it is brilliant to establish partnerships with businesses in the area.
