The kindness shown to Milton Keynes University Hospital over the Easter period really was astonishing
Here’s a quick recap:
Tin Soldiers visit MKUH
At the beginning of April, we were fortunate enough to be visited by the Tin Soldiers Scooter Club who had an “eggs-tra” special delivery for patients at MKUH
We received incredible support from local companies
The following local companies donated chocolate eggs, sweets, activities and toys for patients and staff at MKUH:
- Sports Direct
- Flannels
- Morgan Sindall
- Commercial Estates Group (CEG)
- Foundation Personnel Ltd
- Franklins Solicitors LLP
- Premier Inn – Milton Keynes Central
- Celestra
- Bannatyne Gym
- The Boeing Company
- GXO
- Careys
And from schools and community groups
The following local community groups donated chocolate eggs, sweets, activities and toys for patients and staff at MKUH:
- HIS Church
- Shenley Brook End School
- The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
And from an incredibly generous local family
Sophie and Emmie (with a little bit of help from Mummy and Daddy) arranged a huge egg hunt for friends and asked participants if they could donate a toy for our young patients on wards 4 and 5.
Here they are delivering the gifts, along with a very special message for our young patients …
Please note: Every effort has been made to acknowledge and include all supporters of Milton Keynes Hospital Charity and MKUH during Easter. If we have unintentionally missed anyone, we sincerely apologise! Please don’t hesitate to email us and we’ll make sure you are added promptly! 😊
