Back in 2024 Milton Keynes University Hospital launched the My Thank You App, a simple but powerful way for patients, families, and colleagues to share messages of appreciation with our incredible staff. Since then, the platform has grown into a much‑loved space filled with kindness, encouragement, and heartfelt thanks.

Want to say thank you to someone who helped you today?
You’ll find posters, postcards, and banners all around the hospital promoting ‘My Thank You’ – look out for them if you’re visiting or coming in for an appointment. To send a message, you can simply scan the QR code or text THANKS MKUH to 84901 and you’ll be sent a link (please bear in mind you’ll be charged one message at your standard network rate if you choose the text option).

Why take the time to say Thank You?
A short message of thanks will brighten up the day of a staff member or volunteer. Your message of thanks will create connection, boost team morale and support staff wellbeing. Sarah Fabyan, MKUH medical student sums it up when she says:
