We have been blown away with the support shown for our “Shining Stars” appeal from local “Shining Stars”
Our Shining Stars appeal is a way for individuals, community groups, schools and companies to “light up” Milton Keynes University Hospital and make a real difference. By adopting a star, which is displayed outside MKUH main entrance throughout December, individuals, schools and companies are helping to fund charitable projects throughout the hospital. These projects include funding reminiscence books for dementia patients, keeping Buddy – our patient experience trolley fully stocked and purchasing specialist equipment such as scalp cooling systems for patients undergoing treatment in our Cancer Centre.
