At Milton Keynes Hospital Charity, we always enjoy welcoming our supporters to MKUH to see firsthand the difference their generosity makes for patients, families and staff. Recently, we were delighted to welcome Richard and Lisa from Geoffrey Leaver Solicitors LLP, long-time supporters of our charity, for a special visit to our Children’s Wards. During their time on site, they had the opportunity to meet the wonderful Colonel Custard from Pod Children’s Charity, who makes regular monthly visits to MKUH to bring smiles, laughter and comfort to young patients.
Why these visits matter?
These visits create magical moments for children spending time in hospital. On this occasion, patients including Willow, Cody and Heavenly enjoyed meeting Colonel Custard, sharing smiles and making happy memories during their stay.
Geoffrey Leaver Solicitors have been fantastic supporters of Milton Keynes Hospital Charity for many years and were proud sponsors of our 2025 Gala Ball. Their ongoing support helps us fund projects and activities that go beyond NHS provision, enhancing the hospital experience for patients and their families.
Support from businesses and community partners enables us to fund initiatives such as regular entertainment visits, wellbeing activities, specialist equipment, and improvements to hospital environments across Milton Keynes University Hospital.
