As the hospital’s official charity, we’re proud to invest in projects and tangible items that are over and above the responsibility of the NHS.
But none of what we do would be possible without the support of our wonderful community in and around Milton Keynes.

Our Impact
Radiotherapy Wellbeing Hub Appeal
We’re supporting the completion of the hospital’s new Radiotherapy Centre by fundraising for a special wellbeing hub on the site.
This new facility will offer a safe and peaceful haven for anyone undergoing cancer treatment, as well as their loved ones.

Cancer Centre Appeal
Following our 2018 appeal, Milton Keynes Hospital Charity successfully raised £1 million towards the hospital’s new purpose-built Cancer Centre.
The centre, opened in March 2020, is a dedicated space offering treatment and support to anyone affected by cancer in a more spacious, comfortable and welcoming environment.
Our Impact
BabyLeo Incubator Appeal
Our BabyLeo appeal, launched in September 2020, funded three new state-of-the-art incubators for the hospital’s Neonatal Unit.
The BabyLeos are considered the “Rolls Royce” of incubators and offer the latest in neonatal technology, with built-in weighing scales, special heating systems and personalisation.
Our Impact
Children’s Ward Appeal
In 2016 we raised £200,000 to transform the children’s wards at MKUH, funding colourful new artwork, sensory items and play equipment to make their hospital stays a little brighter.

Charity Champions
Darren
Darren raised more than £500 for the Cancer Centre through a sponsored walk to say thank you for the care he received in 2020 after being diagnosed with cancer.
Alijca
After being diagnosed with cancer at the age of 35, Alicja completed her treatment and received the all-clear in January 2021. She took on the ‘Couch to 5km’ challenge and ran the Milton Keynes Half Marathon to raise money for the Cancer Centre and Breast Care Unit.

Neil proudly supported our BabyLeo Incubator Appeal in 2020 after his son Alfie was born prematurely.
